PriceRunner reveals the most popular trending items for a new baby check list, plus when to buy for the biggest savings.

Recent Royal baby births and pregnancy announcements have been followed by a wave of celebrity bump reveals, from the likes of Instagram Queen Stacey Solomon to Made in Chelsea Star Millie Mackintosh.

Google search trends show that searches for ‘maternity dresses’ rose by 2,800%, whilst searches for ‘baby names 2021’ rose by 1,900% in the UK – it seems many of us have babies on the brain.

The UK’s leading independent price and product comparison site, PriceRunner, has run a 12-month analysis on more than 700 of the most popular baby products in the UK, to provide parents to be with a comprehensive buying and savings guide.

Helping consumers to shop savvier online, PriceRunner found products with a more than 50% price difference, comparing the lowest and highest minimum prices throughout the year. The findings show that it can certainly pay to buy at the right time and compare prices before you buy, with hundreds of pounds to be saved in doing so.
