Not everyone wants the new PlayStation 5 console for Christmas, but clearly a lot of people do, as it has completely sold out in most countries it’s launched in. Taking a look at a few million searches over the past couple of weeks, PriceRunner found the most popular Christmas presents that Brits want this year and where you can still buy them online in time for Christmas.
Analysing data on all 1.6 million products on our site between December 1st to 15th, PriceRunner revealed the most wanted Christmas presents of 2020, where tech gifts dominate the list this year.
Coming in at an unsurprising first place, the sold-out Sony PlayStation 5 is on the top of the lists this year, beating the Microsoft Xbox Series X which also launched in November this year in the UK. It is now sold out at most retailers both online and in shops, but let’s hope their makers decide to release more stock soon so we can get our hands on one...
Claiming the title as the second most popular gift, Apple’s iPad 10.2” is also a best-seller this year, still available to buy at Laptops Direct and have delivered before Christmas if you order it before the 21st of December.
The last dates to buy the most popular Christmas gifts online
If you still need to buy those last few Christmas presents, don’t worry. Some shops are still taking orders online.
“Some shops are still accepting orders online and you can get those last goodies in time for Christmas. But don’t wait too long, I would order what you need now before stock runs out and delivery times get too long.
